How does a kid who survives the rain of V-2 rockets on London in the waning years of World War II end up in Hollywood announcing the diamond jubilee of Oscar? Veteran Hollywood voice actor Neil Ross tells the amazing story of his life, and 50-plus-year career, in two exciting, highly competitive professions in his autobiography: Vocal Recall; A Life in Radio and Voice Overs. Driving cross-country to New York at 17, Neil learns how to survive in the Big Apple on $38.06 a week, and then lives the life of a radio gypsy in Arizona, Salt Lake City, Honolulu, and later in Saigon, where, as a navy journalist, Neil reports on one of the major disasters of the Vietnam War. Then on to San Diego, San Francisco, and finally, Hollywood. Neil tells of his struggle breaking into voice overs, one of the most competitive fields in the industry. Then he describes in fascinating detail what it was like to work on iconic '80s and '90s TV cartoon shows including: Transformers, G.I. Joe, Voltron and Spider-Man. As well, he voiced a slew of popular video games including: Metal Gear Solid, Call of Duty, Command and Conquer, Doom 3 and Mass Effect. Neil spins the tale of his 30-plus years in voice overs including major motion pictures and television shows, and encounters with Robert Redford, Warren Beatty, Steven Spielberg, and Jerry Seinfeld. In addition to announcing the diamond jubilee of Oscar, Neil also works on the Primetime Emmy Awards and seven AFI Life Achievement Award telecasts. He describes in vivid detail the adrenaline-pumping experience of working on live, celebrity-studded events. As Neil’s story unfolds, we meet an amazing cast of characters, from Gene Autry to Jim Morrison, Little Richard to Jonathan Winters. Neil also shares his experiences with the many colorful, talented voice actors and directors he’s worked with over the years, 1. Language: English. Narrator: Neil Ross. "Spider-Man" is the theme song of the 1967 cartoon show Spider-Man, composed by Academy Award winner Paul Francis Webster and Robert "Bob" Harris. The song's opening lines, "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can," have become as synonymous with the Marvel Comics character as his costume. The 2002 Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 film adaptations have featured characters as buskers performing the song, Jayce Bartok and Elyse Dinh respectively. Both films also feature the song at the very end of the credits: the 2002 film featured the 1967 version, while the 2004 film featured a re-recording by Michael Bublé (see below). 2007's Spider-Man 3 also featured the song's melody during the scene where Spider-Man arrives at a big celebration.
Spider-Man is a fictional comic book character who has been adapted in various other media. Spider-Man has been adapted to television many times, as a short-lived live-action television series, a Japanese tokusatsu series, and several animated cartoon series. There were also the "Spidey Super Stories" segments on the PBS educational series The Electric Company, which featured a Spider-Man (played by Danny Seagren) who did not speak out loud but instead used only word balloons.
High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! X-Men Cartoon Maker is a recreational software package that allows the user to create animations with a minimal level of sophistication by utilising a library of backdrops, animations and sound effects from the 1992 Marvel Comics X-Men animated series. The game was developed by education software developer Instinct Corporation and published by Knowledge Adventure for PC in 1996. The game features narration by Cathal J. Dodd as Wolverine and Iona Morris as Storm in the animated series. The game includes all the major characters from the animated series, and for each cast member, typically includes three animations. The software also includes three animated projects created by X-Men co-creator, Stan Lee and voiced by Cathal J. Dodd and Iona Morris. This title is a sequel to the original Spider-Man Cartoon Maker and can be installed over the top to incorporate the library of Spider-Man animation and stills.
